STRETCH MARKS

WHY DO WE GET STRETCH MARKS?

STRETCH MARKS ARE EXTREMELY COMMON AND APPEAR IN STREAKS ACROSS THE SKIN.

They can be blue, red or pink in colour and over time, turn silver. Most stretch marks fade away on their own until they are barely noticeable, but more severe cases never disappear.

TREATMENTS FOR STRETCH MARKS

It is not always possible to get rid of stretch marks completely, however microneedling treatments work effectively at reducing the appearance of them. A course is needed for noticeable results, and a treatment is usually carried out every 4-6 weeks. Particular skincare ingredients such as retinol and AHAs are great to use at home, to stimulate exfoliation and the growth of new cells.
