“What is self-care?” some may ask.
Self-care is an action or activity that benefits the individual doing it – in order to maintain, protect and develop their physical and mental health.

From exercise and brushing our teeth, to unwinding with a good book or magazine, we partake in the action of self-care more often than we think. Not only do these actions hold a physical benefit, but are key to emotion management, reducing anxiety, strengthening inner confidence and therefore, relationships and the experiences around us.
Self-care is not selfish, and time should be allocated in everyone’s day to spend some time, in solitude, to recharge.
